Asian dust typically regarded as a springtime meteorological phenomenon, these events however, not always accept as seasonal phenomena but correspondingly considered as an environmental problem resulting from human deeds namely; soil degradation, desertification and forest reduction. In recent decades, health effects triggered by Asian dust borne air pollutants has been an emerging and widespread public concern in East Asia including Japan. Consequently, to advance our knowledge on the mechanisms where Asian dust affects human health, we concentrate to assess the interplay among the physical characteristics and the biological responses which aggravates greater extent of human health. In addition, the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (Ex. Diabetes Mellitus) have instigated to mirror the prevalence found in many countries and causing an escalation in health care expenditures. Therefore, our research emphasis on to improve the knowledge and skills of patients with diabetes through training and design a peer support system that promotes sustainable self-management of patients with diabetes. This system will provide the evidence to demonstrate the improvements of patient’s knowledge, attitude, and self-management activities, along with diabetes-related indices and quality of life.
