Research Projects

In order to deploy the cross research and education through the all faculties joined by professors from the fields of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, which is based on the scientific knowledge of the dryland science built mainly by Arid Land Research Center, a unique strength of Tottori University. Currently, we have five ongoing projects that are interdisciplinary and international themed: Environmental Degradation and Restoration Project, Agriculture and Rural Development Project, Regional and Industrial Project, Human Development (society, education and health) Project, and Sand Dune Conservation and Management Project. More than 80 researchers from different disciplines (including medical, technology, and socio-cultural studies) are participating these programs.
